Support Youth in Crisis: Addressing Mental Health and Housing Instability
Join us online on Oct. 29 from 12 – 1 PM, to learn strategies and tools to mitigate the mental health issues for youth facing housing instability, food insecurity, and poverty.
Topics to be addressed include:
- The impact mental health and housing instability has on a young person’s ability to learn and cope
- Best practices for staff and volunteers for cultivating connection and safe
spaces for youth - Effective approaches for creating safe and inclusive spaces for LGBTQ+ youth
- The importance of “warm hand offs” with referrals
