CTS Honors Bishop T. Garrott Benjamin, Jr. with Inaugural Living Legend Award
Milestone years in the life of an institution provide the perfect setting for special recognition. On Tuesday, April 22, President David M. Mellott will present Bishop T. Garrott Benjamin, Jr. with the seminary’s first Living Legend Award for Dedication to Theological Education at the annual Legends of Leadership Breakfast. This honor is given in recognition of Benjamin’s ministry and legacy including the more than 50 students that he guided to Christian Theological Seminary during his time as senior pastor and pastor emeritus at Light of the World Christian Church. On Wednesday, April 23, a public celebration and reception will be held at Light of the World, 4646 N. Michigan Road, Indianapolis from 6 – 8 pm.
