About the Christian Church in Ohio (Disciples of Christ)
The Christian Church in Ohio is one of 32 Regional Church bodies in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the United States and Canada.  We are a network of 140 local congregations, over 300 clergy, a multitude of lay leaders, and several ecumenical and interfaith partners.  The Christian Church in Ohio has two main purposes: nurture and mission. We are called to fulfill the mission of the Church by taking the lead in developing new forms of ministry in mission, witness and service. The Christian Church in Ohio is also a nurturing agent that provides support, guidance and pastoral care to ministers and congregations.
