Douglas Tracy

A Presbyterian Church (USA) teaching elder (minister of word and sacrament), Douglas J. Tracy currently serves the Church as Stated Clerk for the Synod of Lincoln Trails and as adjunct faculty for McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago. Prior to these positions, he was Associate Professor of Christian Education for Ecumenical Theological Seminary in Detroit, MI. During his time in Detroit, he served as Director of the seminary's Sustaining Pastoral Excellence program and later as Program Director of the Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry.
 
During his ministry, Dr. Tracy served congregations as pastor and as associate pastor for education. He served several regional councils of the church as associate for education, for leadership development, and as stated clerk (for two different presbyteries and a synod).

AT CTS, he will be teaching a course on Presbyterian polity, worship, and sacraments for students who are preparing to serve in ministry in the Presbyterian Church (USA).
