You must meet the criteria listed below to be considered for federal financial aid.
- You must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Be enrolled in a degree seeking program
- Have a valid Social Security Number
- Meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards
- Not be in default on a federal loan or owe a repayment of a federal grant
- If you are male, you must be registered with Selective Service
- A federal or state drug conviction can disqualify you for federal student aid
